Materials List:

Polymer clay- I like a base of flesh colored clay- then add bits of colored clay.  The flesh clay can be Premo – or any similar clay.  I would recommend having at least 1/2 pound and a variety of colored clays to add.  This can be any clay that you like- Premo, Kato, Sculpey 3.  You just need a selection- you never know what inspiration my strike.  Greens are good for frogs- but I like to add browns and golds too!  A dragon could be any color!!  Realize you may be making a couple of pieces….. maybe even 3 or 4!!?  It just depends upon you!  So bring plenty of clays!
Armature material- aluminum foil.  Wire can also be used for more complicated forms.  Steel floral stem wire is good- about 18 gauge.  Tin-coated Copper wire is excellent for larger figures- use 12 gauge.  Heavy foils and wire mesh can be used for wing armature- if necessary.

Acrylic paint- red, burnt sienna, pearlescent or metallic- I will have some available for your use.

 Optional Materials

Pearl-ex powders

Clear coat finish- Golden Brand
Black and white gesso-
I’ll also have some available.

 Tools

Sculpting tools- I have several available for purchase. I prefer steel tools.

Large round-ended tapestry needle- or a knitting needle
Eyes-
these can be pre-baked polymer clay, beads, or teddy bear eyes… there are many possibilities!  You can use any material that will withstand the 250 baking temperature.  I will have eyes available for $5 a pair.  You can also prebake polymer clay to make eyes.
Work Surface

Hand Wipes
Pasta machines are welcome! (although I usually mix by hand!?)
