General
Meeting Format
Meeting begins at 6:30 and lasts up to 9:00 p.m.
 Meeting is called to order and guild business is discussed.
We talk about upcoming shows and events, programs such as Bottles of Hope and
Hearts for Heroes, what's happening with the annual retreat and set up swaps and
challenges.
 All members get three minutes for Show and
Tell. This is mostly polymer clay but can also include craft shows, jewelry and
other related items. To present anything
to the Guild beyond 3 minutes of Show & Tell, please contact
SDPCG President

IN ADVANCE to get on the agenda!
 As time permits, we have demos by members and guests. All members are encouraged
to share new techniques and ideas. Please contact the guild president prior
to the meeting to get on the agenda.
 After all the talk is done, members check
out what everyone has brought, share thoughts and ideas and buy raffle tickets.
 The raffle table holds many crafty items
related to polymer clay, jewelry making and other related items. |
 Time
and Place of General Meeting:
Monthly
meetings are held in the second Tuesday of each month, except for December,
at 6:30 PM at Northminster Presbyterian Church (effective 1/1997). 4324

General
Meeting agenda:
The
monthly general meetings follow a format that allows for members to share
information directly relating to guild business as long as they are on
the agenda. To be put on the agenda, please email the guild president in
advance of the monthly meeting. This applies to committee chairs as well
as the membership at large. (Adopted 4/8/1997)
Show
and Tell, time and topics:
Members
and guests are allowed up to three minutes
each to share work and ideas. Sharing should be limited to issues directly
relating to polymer clay (adopted 11/12/1996).
Photography
at meetings:
There
shall be no photography of member or guest work at a general meeting without
prior permission from that member. Any permitted photography shall be done
away from other members work. (Adopted 8/13/1996)
Product
Sales:
Members
who have products they would like to offer for sale to other members at
a meeting should request permission prior to the meeting from a member
of the Rules and Ethics Committee. The product should be directly related
to polymer clay; the member shall be placed on the agenda to present the
product; a donation of 15% of any sale proceed shall be presented to the
